"I SAVE MYSELF" is an illustrative guide for self-assertion, prevention, and self-defense to be provided free to all 5,600 Austrian schools.
“I SAVE MYSELF” - an illustrative guide for self-assertion, prevention, and self-defense is intended to be made available to all 5,600 Austrian schools free of charge.
“Prevention is better than reaction.” An unknown man attempted to lure a seven-year-old girl into his car near Köflach in Styria in June 2018. The girl, who was on her way to school, recognized the potential danger, kept a safe distance from the stranger, and ran back to her parents, who called the police. The girl attends a class where safety expert Markus Schimpl provides children with tips based on his book I SAVE MYSELF on recognizing potential dangers, the right behavior in dangerous situations, and strengthening self-confidence.
Now there is an extraordinary opportunity to significantly increase security in and around Austrian schools, and above all, to protect the most vulnerable - our children. "I SAVE MYSELF" is an illustrative guide for self-assertion and prevention - just last month a mother reported that her child was able to escape from a possible child abduction a few weeks after the self-assertion training (information about the training in a radio report).
Since children especially need knowledge about self-assertion, the book "I SAVE MYSELF" is intended to be delivered free of charge to all 5,600 Austrian schools as an illustrative guide. The goal is to make this unique guide on self-protection available in every Austrian school library to inform teaching staff, parents, and students about age-appropriate options for self-assertion, self-defense, and prevention if needed. Your donation helps to optimize protection for our children. HERE you can directly support the project
