The problem is the dangling of the daylight cap of the PVS14 when used at night. Anyone who has one will know it, to illustrate, we have depicted the dangling in the header image. This dangling can be quickly stopped in two ways. The first option would be a rubber band, wrapped around the device, under which you clamp the cap.

But since we love Velcro, the rubber solution satisfies us only insufficiently. So bring on the Velcro and adhesive. Simply glue a 1 cm wide loop strip to the side...

... and two more hook strips at the front of the cap. Of course, degrease and clean everything beforehand, we want it to last a long time.

When everything is dry, you're done. The cover cap can now be velcroed to the side without any dangling, where it won't bother you anymore. Good luck! You can get the PVS14 for crafting at ACTinBlack.
