Some types always let themselves drift. Max Blume is one of them ... Once the mission is over, the equipment remains – and the interests shift. "Since we now have a lot of time and live by the water, the boat has become number 1."
But even that doesn't work without a certain amount of tacticool. "We simply put together old equipment and purpose and came up with the topic of a MOLLE swim vest." Behind the Tasmanian Tiger logo in this case is the TT Vest Base, the old model before the current Vest Base MK2.
All there, customized and flexible. Ready for the life hack? So we take the good Tasmanian Tiger vest and then off to the hardware store.
We need Styrofoam with a thickness of 5cm (costs about 3 euros).
The Styrofoam is cut to size, packaged in garbage bags, and stuffed into the vest instead of the drinking bladder and other items...
The Tactical TT swim vest is ready, individual and modular. We are excited and tacticool.
Ready for the Water Ops. In the featured image at the top, there is a video of Baywatch Blume showing how he enjoys himself wildly.
CONCLUSION: Today's practical test has shown that the idea works. A casual drift in the waters of Hönowzona was the positive result of days of research. Now modifications will be made, and thanks to MOLLE, something different and tacticool will be tried on the vest every day ... but the base is established and from now on will be indispensable in connection with our boat.
Special thanks to Max for this great DIY
