The SEAL's ability to adapt and customize gear is displayed in this modified Safariland holster for a SIG P226 with Surefire weapon light. Using a pouch from an MLCS kit, the holster was made MOLLE compatible with added retention strap. Visit Legit Kit for more innovative gear solutions.
The SEAL is self-sufficient and if something doesn't fit, it will be made to fit. Our friend Legit Kit posted this beautiful picture of a piece of gear that has passed through his hands. The modified Safariland holster holds a SIG P226 with Surefire P113 weapon light. So far, so normal. What's interesting is how the attachment for the gear was improvised: a pouch from the MLCS kit was sacrificed to make the holster MOLLE compatible, cut off and screwed on. Also note the additional retention strap.
