Where to put all the patches? In the box, no one sees them and the patch folder is also not quite optimal. So, what to do? Quite logically, a patch wall is needed. The small disadvantage of this idea is that hook and loop tape in large quantities is very expensive and we want a few square meters. But we have a great solution for you: carpet from the hardware store.
This is available on four-meter wide rolls and costs about five euros per square meter, so much cheaper than Velcro. And the second good news: patches stick perfectly to it.
The only tools you need are a tape measure, a marker, a hole punch, and scissors or a knife. Then just a few small cable ties. Simply cut the carpet to the desired size and attach it to the wall.
We have a grid on the wall in the office, so we simply used cable ties. Another mounting option would be to fix the whole thing with wooden strips and screws on the wall, or to attach the loop surface in a picture frame and hang it like a picture. The only small disadvantage of the carpet is that with very good hook and loop tape holding, it tends to pull threads. In the short video, you can see the entire crafting process: www.youtube.com
