HOW TO: Build your own shooting obstacle

The US Army's new training manual "TC 3-20.40, Training and Qualification, Individual Weapons" includes a detailed plan for a shooting wall on page 99. The wall should measure 1.83 m x 1.22 m x 12.7 cm, as shown in the provided images. European readers can also find rounded values in centimeters for easier measurements.

The US Army has recently issued its new training manual "TC 3-20.40, Training and Qualification, Individual Weapons". In this very comprehensive work, you can find on page 99 a detailed plan of how the corresponding shooting wall should look like.

Exactly like this and no other way. For those wondering, the measurements are in feet and inches. For conversion, 1 foot equals 30.48 cm and 1 inch equals 2.54 cm. So, the base of the wall should measure 1.83 m x 1.22 m x 12.7 cm.

Here is the blueprint again, but with rounded values in centimeters, because in Europe we don't use inches much. So, off to the hardware store, buy some wood, and be careful with your fingers when cutting.
