Combat Vehicles
Model Making:

Honey, let Goliath out

Well done, little Japanese guy: he built a 1:1 replica of the Goliath, and the model drives around the yard. The Goliath from World War II also serves as a model for modern unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), which are being used more and more in the conflict in Ukraine.

What does that say? Is that the Japanese character? “Ching Chong Chang?” – No, we don’t think so, and we apologize. But 1:1 is quite a statement. Our friend from Japan has a fantastic hobby and has built a replica of the little Goliath with a modernized interior. Look how nimbly it zips through the garden—not explosively at all.

The Goliath from World War II is almost back in the spotlight these days; this little cargo carrier, used by engineers to transport explosives, is, so to speak, the prototype for modern unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), like the ones we’re seeing in Ukraine.
