HOLSTER: Thor Duty+ by Black Trident

The long wait is over. The guys from BLACK TRIDENT are back with a new addition after a long wait. The Thor Duty+ Holster is back, but with a new freshness and new features. Austrian craftsmanship combined with American security. In addition, BLACK TRIDENT has recently become a Safariland Reseller.

What does that mean exactly? In addition to products like the CUBL 6070 Mide Ride System or the QLS (Quick Locking System), the Duty+ comes with the original Safariland SLS (Self Locking System) locking lever. A first for Europe!

What does this mean for you?

In the BLACK TRIDENT Thor Duty+ Holster Series, the typical features of a Black Trident Kydex holster are combined with a patented safety mechanism from the USA. The SLS safety mechanism is used by countless agencies worldwide and has proven itself. Those already familiar with the SLS won't need to readjust. Black Trident offers the Thor Duty+, a Level 2 retention holster for setup variations (e.g. with various laser/light modules) that are not available from major holster manufacturers. The right-handed/left-handed issue is also fully resolved.

Safariland SLS with Thor Duty+, how does the safety mechanism work?

The SLS is a lever that is pressed down and forward by the user's thumb, releasing the safety and therefore the weapon. Simple, reliable, and to the delight of many who are already familiar with the safety system. The BLACK TRIDENT Thor Duty+ models are compatible with all common red dot sights* (such as Trijicon RMR, Leupold Delta Point Pro, RMS Shield, etc) and typical accessories like Extended Slide Release or enlarged Magazine Release have already been taken into account.
