If you're too stupid to calculate and still want to hit something, you should take a closer look at the Impact 4000 Ballistic Rail-Mounted Laser Rangefinder from VORTEX. This is mounted on the Picatinny rail of the weapon, and off you go.
A laser measures the distance. The maximum range on reflective surfaces is 4000 yards (hence the name), which is about 3.65 kilometers, or 1500 yards (1.3 kilometers) for less reflective surfaces like deer. The device can be calibrated to the weapon and caliber, and there are already pre-installed profiles. In operation, you simply aim at the target and the device directly outputs how the optics need to be adjusted for an accurate shot. Various built-in sensors also help, taking into account temperature, air pressure, and humidity. You can find a complete overview of the device HERE directly on the VORTEX homepage. Price around 3000 US dollars. Probably not available for Germany, due to the laser in the device. But work is being done on approval for government customers.
