HGM: Uniform and Gun Smoke 2022

Next weekend it is time again! Under the motto Uniform and Gunpowder, a spectacular journey through seven centuries of military history awaits at the Vienna Museum of Military History (HGM). Field camps, artillery demonstrations (midday salute), show fights, medieval market, crafts, and music make the past an exciting experience.

On both days, there is a fairy-tale children's program for brave princesses and gallant knights. Defeat Rübezahl and rescue the princess! We also offer catapults, shooting from battlements, and an obstacle course! Professional chefs and servers take care of body and soul.

The main attractions of the program include "Living Chess," the "Fire Show," and the performances of various reenactment groups. Admission to the festival at the HGM is free for those dressed in historical clothing.
