There are many myths surrounding the topic of bullet impact. While in movies, victims always fall immediately upon being hit, the reality is quite different. Many people who are hit do not even notice it at first. However, the scientific data on this subject is not very extensive. Therefore, journalist Ralph Wilhelm and renowned ballistics expert Dr. Beat Kneubuehl, author of various standard works on the subject of wound ballistics, are seeking individuals (soldiers, police officers, hunters, sport shooters, etc.) for a scientific study who have suffered a gunshot wound or been struck while wearing a protective vest and who are willing to provide information about their perception of this event.
