GLOCK is doing well: record result

In Deutsch-Wagram near Vienna, one can be satisfied. In 2021, the pistol manufacturer Glock achieved a record turnover again - as in the previous year. According to the Austrian newspaper "Kurier", sales increased by 13.9 percent to 888.8 million Euros.

"2021 was marked by very strong demand and production at full capacity throughout the year," reported the 2021 annual balance sheet of Glock GmbH. The pre-tax profit for the year 2021 increased by almost 50 million to 262.69 million Euros, the annual surplus by around 30 million to 197.3 million Euros. This means a balance profit of 441.6 million Euros, as reported by "Kurier". The average number of employees increased by 380 people to 2,360 employees - including the US location in Georgia.

Satisfaction was expressed with the "still very strong demand" in the USA, and just recently, they equipped the French army. 75,000 Glock pistols with accessories were delivered. A slight disappointment in the States: the US Army chose SIG SAUER over Glock.
