Exactly forty years ago, on December 15, 1981, Egon Busch founded the company, which has brought many innovations in head protection to the market to this day. These include innovations in motorcycle helmets, bicycle helmets, the first plastic-based ballistic helmet for the German Armed Forces, as well as the world's first non-metallic VPAM-certified helmet - this is technological leadership from the medium-sized company from North Rhine-Westphalia.

Since 2019, Busch PROtective has been the exclusive supplier of ballistic helmets for the FBI, as well as the DEA and other units of the U.S. Department of Justice.
