LANDED: The STEYR ARMS STM 556 is here

Now it's official: Since today, the civilian version of the STEYR ARMS STM 556 is listed on the website of the Austrian STEYR ARMS wholesaler and available for order, with a RRP of 3,990 EUR. It does not appear on the STEYR ARMS homepage. The weapon was originally designed so that STEYR ARMS can also participate in tenders for firearms that require an AR15 system, as the market for bullpups like the AUG is limited. In Germany, the weapon participated under the name RS556 with Rheinmetall in the tender for the new German assault rifle, but was eliminated before Haenel and HK. Now it is available as a civilian semi-automatic.

It is not yet determined when the STM rifles will be delivered. However, those who want to secure one should not wait too long and either order directly from the wholesaler, which will then be delivered to a selected hunting & sports partner dealer of their choice, or contact their trusted gun dealer and order there.
