Geissele for the MK18?

From the stable of Geissele - we presented their Rail for the HK416 in the review - now comes a new Super Modular Rail in a length that would fit almost perfectly for a SOPMOD Block II. For comparison: above is the Super Modular Rail MKI from Geissele, below is the Daniel Defense MK18 RIS II. Compare the different proportions of Picatinny. The Geissele would fit on military M4s. Rumors already suggest that it was made to replace the DD Rail. However, the conservative nature of the military will probably prevent the system from being changed so soon after the introduction of the DD RIS II.
