GBRS: The HYDRA MOUNT now with patent

The Hydra Mount should by now be familiar to everyone. A high mount that raises the aiming optics and laser box even higher than all others. Now there is the official US Patent 11,733,004B2 for it.

We like patents because they reveal a lot, like this one does. To the observant reader of the patent, it will be noticed that the HYDRA MOUNT was originally intended as a modular platform. So you can change the actual optic mount. This feature has not made it into production yet. Let's see what else is to come.

Last year, when it came on the market, it was already something very new and in very special cases, this solution makes sense, namely for top-class CQB, but for the average shooter, the Hydra is probably too specialized. However, the mounting has now become somewhat cheaper, from initially $550 to around $332.
