As Strategie & Technik reports, the Bundeswehr is introducing the G28 (H&K 417) as a Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR). Germany is therefore following some other European NATO countries (e.g. the Netherlands, Norway, and France) in the adoption of this weapon system.
