Just seen: HK 437 in CONCAMO

06/30/2021By Redaktion

Looks like an HK 433 assault rifle from the outside, but the devil is in the details. This was the case with the seemingly empty images from CONCAMO from the last gear shooting. If the rifle wasn't black, you wouldn't see anything. Luckily, it's a "Black rifle," otherwise we might have missed the new Heckler & Koch 437 in .300 Blackout.

Another name for this powerful caliber is 7.62 x 35mm, which can be confused with the classic AK caliber of 7.62 x 39mm. This was intentional, as this caliber is often used by special forces, especially for suppressed fire, achieving a higher impact on target than previous submachine guns. The colleague in the background is carrying a beige HK 433 in 5.56x45mm. The HK 437 is also available in shades of brown. The new use of M-LOK - and no longer their in-house HKey system - is intriguing.

The HK 437 can be compact. The folded version shown in the image is actually shorter than an MP5SD with the shoulder stock retracted. With a 9-inch barrel setup, the projectile energy is 742 joules, delivering almost double the muzzle energy of an MP5SD. The camouflage of CONCAMO never fails to impress us. Here stands the green little man with the HK 437 in the forest. Or is it on the heath? Doesn't matter, a Rheinmetall Vario Ray LLM was chosen as the light laser module attached to the underside. Here is the data sheet in English for the LLM-Vario-Ray. An EOTech EXPS is used as the target optics. A solid choice indeed.

To ensure not only the soldier but also his vehicle is well camouflaged, GHOSTHOOD's vehicle camouflage is used. We have reported about it HERE. To make the HK 437 less conspicuous, it was wrapped with a camouflage garland in CONCAMO. Not perfectly hidden yet, but definitely improved. And here we can see the other side of the new rifle. More of the spectacular images from the current CONCAMO advertising shoot will be available in the coming days.
