RENK Group AG has extended its framework agreement with Rheinmetall to supply HSWL 256C transmissions for the KF41 Lynx, a modern infantry fighting vehicle. This partnership emphasizes the importance of efficient European defense supply chains and RENK's commitment to boosting Europe’s defense capabilities.
RENK Group AG, a leading supplier of propulsion solutions for the military sector, has concluded an extension with RHEINMETALL of the existing framework agreement to supply propulsion solutions for the KF41 Lynx.
The scope of delivery includes HSWL 256C transmissions and final drives for the KF41 Lynx, which, following Hungary, is being introduced in large numbers in other European armed forces.
“With the extension of our framework agreement, we are consistently continuing our successful partnership with Rheinmetall. The KF41 Lynx is one of the most state-of-the-art tracked vehicles worldwide and has already been introduced in Hungary as an infantry fighting vehicle. RENK provides the core transmission technology that powers the vehicle,” says Michael Masur, CEO Vehicle Mobility Solutions at RENK GmbH. “For us, strengthening Europe’s defense capabilities is both a goal and a responsibility.”
The extension of the framework agreement underscores the importance of efficient European supply chains for the defense industry. Through the early expansion of its production capacity, RENK has created the conditions to meet growing demand reliably over the long term. ALLE INFORMATIONS about the KF41 Lynx.
