ANDRES INDUSTRIES AG is hosting the "Shooting Experience" on June 10 and August 19, 2026, in Berlin. This introductory course aims to provide individuals with minimal firearm exposure a chance to gain practical experience under professional guidance, emphasizing safety, responsibility, and discussions on firearms in society.
Firearms - For some, simply tools of the trade or sports equipment; for others, objects that evoke either fascination and desire or a sense of unease and fear. Professional firearm carriers, hunters, and sport shooters usually have sufficient experience handling firearms and therefore have a clear understanding of their use, associated dangers, and benefits.

However, due to a lack of points of contact and access opportunities, many people have a rather distorted image and sometimes wild notions about firearms and their carriers. From "cool" to "murderers and fascists," everything can be heard – mostly from those who have never touched or fired a real firearm. But how can one develop a sense for something with which they never come into contact and to which they have hardly any access opportunities?

To bridge this gap, ANDRES INDUSTRIES AG hosted, for the first time last year as part of the Forum Prometheus, the Shooting Experience. This is a kind of introductory shooting course for individuals who have had no or only minimal contact with firearms and wanted to gain personal experience in this area.
Since the feedback from all participants was overwhelmingly positive and interest in a continuation has been expressed, the next round takes place on June 10, 2026, and August 19, 2026. Under the supervision of Dirk Schöppl (factory security officer of Andres Industries AG and firearms expert) and David Raulfs (shooting and operations trainer of the Berlin police), interested individuals can immerse themselves in the world of shooting for a few hours and gain initial impressions in a relaxed atmosphere and under professional guidance.

The course includes not only the mandatory safety training but also both theoretical and practical elements, with a clear focus on the shooting experience and a gradual improvement of accuracy. Shooting will be conducted with various models and calibers of short and long weapons (e.g., pistol, MP5, AR-15, AK-47). Besides the technical aspects of shooting, there is also space for discussions on the general handling of firearms and their relevance in a functioning society, ensuring that at the end of the event all participants return home with a positive overall impression, a sense of responsibility, and gained insights.
Would you like to find out how shooting feels and what it entails? Or have you already gained some initial experience and want to refresh your skills without having to join a club right away? Then simply check out the Forum Prometheus or register HERE directly for the event.
