FN Evolys for the French

Just unveiled at EUROSATORY: The French Army is the first major customer for FN HERSTAL’s new machine gun, the Evolys above, at the announcement with Defense Minister Theo Francken. Of the 5,000 units ordered, two-thirds will be delivered in 7.62 mm caliber. No information was provided regarding the number of Mk3 models in 7.62 mm caliber that were also procured.
