A MUST for every soldier (and not just for them): running in boots. Simply swap your running shoes for the boots of your choice and go for a run. At first, it feels very strange, but over time you get used to the additional weight on your feet. Alternate between running shoes and boots during training so that the muscles around your ankles don't deteriorate. Take it one step further by jogging in "uniform." We recommend wearing loose fitting pants and a sweater or a simple t-shirt when running in regular clothes.
