Ferkinghoff IWA 2023: New products, new partnerships and an anniversary

With these topics and a cornucopia of US products, importer Ferkinghoff International GmbH & Co. KG, Bergtheim presented its growing portfolio to national and international specialist retailers at the IWA in Nuremberg from March 2nd to 5th. US partners O.F. Mossberg, KAHR Firearms Group, Timney Triggers, BullDog Cases, XS Sights, and for the first time Optics supplier Primary Arms were also present at the booth. A new collaboration is expanding Ferkinghoff's portfolio. At the trade fair, Ferkinghoff launched the exclusive distribution of Springfield Armory in Germany.

Whether for hunting, sports, or security - Ferkinghoff's program offers well-known brands and high-selling products ranging from modern and historical long and short firearms, optics, accessories such as grips, holsters, magazines to complete cleaning systems or targets. Visitors to the booth could expect a range of new products as well as proven ones.

For several years, the KAHR Firearms Group has presented its product portfolio at the IWA together with its general importer for Europe. This includes all Kahr Premium handguns, Magnum Research firearms such as the Desert Eagle, BFR revolvers, Magnum-Light rifles, and the Auto Ordnance range including accessories and spare parts.

A new highlight is the Desert Eagle model variant Black Cherry and the Thompson M1 Carbine SBR which was presented for the first time in the short version and will be delivered.

Shooters and hunters associate O.F. Mossberg with a comprehensive range of shotguns for sports and hunting. But repeaters and the MC2 series of handguns were also presented. A number of new models were showcased on-site; many shotguns and rifles will come with an Optic Ready program in the new year.

As a surprise guest, Jerry Miculek was present at the booth for questions, tips, and advice. Autographs, selfies, and individual questions were included.

Since Ferkinghoff took over the European distribution of Timney Trigger last year, interest in the portfolio of the aftermarket trigger provider has been growing. The Glock series for Gen 5 and 3|4, the AR series, and the latest MP5 trigger from the company were also present at the booth.

The US company BullDog Cases is known for tactical, modern, and robust gun bags, cases, slings, rifle straps, as well as holsters and magazine holders. The BDT bag models have a new sibling, coming in black, tan, green, and grey. Also present were the lesser-known handbags for women.

The optics section was also strongly represented at the booth. For example, with Trijicon, the brand for law enforcement and precision shooters who demand the highest quality. Ferkinghoff's FOI product series offers rails in a rich selection.

Two new additions at the booth were the two US manufacturers XS Sights and Primary Arms. The latter company caused a stir at the beginning of the year with its "Odysee 2023" program, offering a comprehensive range of scopes and red dots. The portfolio of patented ACSS reticles leaves nothing to be desired. All optics were on display at the booth and could be examined and aimed with.

Tactaload - US veterans and federal officers have founded this company. The actors developed and launched the FLASH-5 stock. This stock was developed for the 12-gauge shotguns of Mossberg and Remington. This unique, patented design includes an internal magazine that provides the shooter with immediate access to ammunition.

Choate - the US manufacturer Choate offers a comprehensive portfolio of stocks. A high-quality, fiberglass-reinforced, and extremely heat-resistant plastic is used. The surface is grippy and fits well in the hand. Precision, combined with precision manufacturing with steel or aluminum from the aircraft industry, characterizes Choate's products.

Even the 33-year anniversary of the family business Ferkinghoff International was not overlooked. A special program was developed for specialist retailers.
