EUROSATORY 22: The Panther is back

Rheinmetall teases a new main battle tank, possibly named "MBT Panther," at EUROSATORY 2022. The tank's design hints at a tank version of the KF41 Lynx.

So, assuming it's not Special Purpose Vehicle 171 again, Rheinmetall has its own new main battle tank in the works. In the visual representation of the defense company's booth for EUROSATORY 2022, it is labeled as "MBT Panther" - and likely intentionally leaked.

And in a recent Twitter post from the company, the "Panther" is already prowling through German botany:

We're not fortune-tellers, but based on the shape and layout, and also far from Paris, we're guessing there's a tank version of the KF41 Lynx. Here seemingly painted in a T-block pattern that reminds us of the experimental Urban Camo of the Marine Corps from about 20 years ago. We're curious, especially because Rheinmetall has already introduced a Lynx 120 - we reported on it - before.
