EUROSATORY 2024: Avon MCM100 rebreather for the Kiwis

Avon Protection is pleased to announce that its MCM100 Multi-Role Rebreather has been selected by the New Zealand Defence Force to equip their Navy divers. The contract includes the delivery of MCM100 systems, spare parts and accessories, as well as a multi-year support program.

The MCM100 was originally designed for military and specialized user groups, providing military divers with increased safety and longer operational duration for the full spectrum of shallow and deep dive operations, including EOD, MCM, special forces, covert underwater infiltration, submarine egress, as well as manned submersible operations.

The electronically controlled, closed-circuit MCM100 utilizes advanced digital oxygen sensors and a native decompression algorithm to manage oxygen and decompression risk. System and mission information is displayed to the diver through a wrist-mounted or console-mounted handheld device and a heads-up display. Additionally, pre-dive automatic sequencing reduces preparation time and enhances safety.
