EUROSATORY 2018: Carmor introduces the Mantis family

06/12/2018By Redaktion

In Paris, the EUROSATORY fair is taking place. In line with the event, the Israeli company Carmor has presented its vehicle. "Mantis" is supposed to be a whole family of armored vehicles that can be partly modularly designed to be optimally adapted to the mission. The driver sits in a cockpit-like position to have the best field of vision. Mantis is an all-wheel drive vehicle that can navigate various terrains. The armor, which can be reinforced or removed as needed, can withstand various calibers, as well as IEDs and mines. Integrated night vision and surveillance systems are also on board, as well as a platform to fire different weapons such as machine guns or even rockets. In the 4x4 configuration, the vehicle can accommodate 8 people, alternatively in the 6x6 variant, 13 people can be accommodated. More details about Mantis can be found HERE.
