Finally online and available for purchase: the tactical axe Estrema by EXTREMA RATIO. The Italian company is the official supplier of the Italian Navy's Special Operations Unit COMSUBIN and has developed the tactical axe Estrema for the G.O.I. (Operational Raiders Group) of the Italian Navy.
The name "Estrema" reflects the extreme nature of the environments and situations this model is designed for. The weapon combines robustness and innovative design and is made of Böhler N690 steel, hardened to 54 HRC, with a Dark Stone finish. The G10 handle has two uses and can be used as a break-in tool, for cutting and opening metal sheets, as well as a lever and pry bar.
Estrema comes in a case with a Kydex sheath and belt clip. The sheath has many attachment options, the clip can be secured with a belt clip and paracord, holding the axe securely.
With the unique accessory Estrema Hammer, you can transform your axe into a multifunctional tool. The hammer, made of heat-treated carbon steel (impact mass), attaches to the axe pick with a snap mechanism, preventing accidental loosening. This device makes the axe even more versatile. The package includes a Cordura cover to protect the tool. The Estrema Hammer is an optional accessory and is also available here at www.extremaratio.com.
