It's a girl! Mehler FlexGuard

Mehler Vario System introduced its latest product today: the Women's Softballistic Mehler FlexGuard. Mehler FlexGuard represents a significant leap in development for every female officer and soldier on duty and in the field, according to the company. This softballistic was specifically designed to adapt to the female contours of the body.

Mehler FlexGuard is one of the lightest products of its kind currently available on the market. According to the company, the version with protection class VPAM 3 weighs approximately 3.13 kg/sqm (weight without mounted bulletproofing), while the weight of the SK1 version is around 3.61 kg/sqm (weight with mounted bulletproofing).

"Mehler FlexGuard offers an extremely lightweight ballistic protection combined with an unprecedented level of comfort for every female officer or soldier on duty. FlexGuard differs from conventional softballistic models available for women. The system is based on an innovative manufacturing process that allows us to ensure an anatomically shaped softballistic for seamless and optimized fits."

Thanks to the use of innovative ballistic materials and new processing techniques, the softballistic can withstand threats of protection classes VPAM 3 or SK1. Additional protection classes are available upon request.

In addition, the softballistic can be combined with most other Mehler Vario System vest models. It can also be retrofitted with a formed shock absorber to reduce trauma depth in case of shots to the heart and spine areas.
