At the booth of DIRECT ACTION, we were able to admire this year's novelties. Firstly, the color caught our attention: the entire product range will be available in Multicam Tropic in the future.

But the real novelty in the product range is the CURTISS Chestrig, specifically designed for magazines in the 7.62x51 caliber. It is also featured in Multicam Tropic in the cover image. In addition, a counterweight pouch for the helmet and a front flap for the plate carrier in 7.62×51 are also available.

Pouches for maps and other items are essential on equipment. DIRECT ACTION offers several options, including an Admin Pouch MKII and two larger admin pouches that are meant to be worn in front of the body.

These are called Chest Rig and Front Flap. Chest Rig is the more square of the two, and Front Flap is the longer one. Inside, you will find many compartments for pens and other small items. There are also some further developments of their existing pouches, all of which can be found in their 2024 catalog.

A look into the future was truly exciting. Available only in 2025, but possibly by the end of this year, DIRECT ACTION will release specialized rain gear. This is designed as an outer layer to be worn over the equipment, meaning the jacket will go over the Chest Rig or plate carrier.

This gear is made of classic laminate and can be opened to access the magazines.

Of course, pants are also included in this rain gear. They, like the jacket, have openings to access the pockets on the combat uniform underneath.

Additionally, thermal clothing following the same concept is in the works. We are eager to see the features that the final pieces will offer.
