ENFORCE TAC 2023: Rheinmetall as a strong partner for armed and security forces

From February 28 to March 1, 2023, the security trade fair ENFORCE TAC will open its doors in Nuremberg. As a strong partner for armed forces and security forces, RHEINMETALL AG will be on site, showcasing a portion of their tactical portfolio from the Vehicle Systems, Weapon and Ammunition, and Electronic Solutions divisions to users, procurers, and other trade visitors.

Some RHEINMETALL highlights at this year's tenth anniversary edition of EnforceTac include:

Caracal: Together with Mercedes-Benz and ACS Armoured Car Systems, Rheinmetall offers a versatile, strong, fast, and compact 4x4 vehicle family for light forces like airborne or special operations units.

Survivor R: The highly mobile, well-protected, and versatile Survivor R is a special vehicle for security forces. It is based on the 4x4 MAN chassis and was developed in cooperation with the specialist vehicle manufacturer Achleitner. The Survivor R has been selected by the Federal Police and the state riot police as the next generation special vehicle.

Squad Support Weapon SSW40: The world's first automatic, magazine-fed, shoulder-fired grenade launcher for 40mm ammunition. Both the weight, dimensions, and handling of the SSW40 are similar to assault rifles.

Pyrotechnic Special Mission Equipment: Rheinmetall offers numerous pyrotechnic special mission equipment, including the Blitzknallgranaten 9-Bang and the rectangular Spectac, both equipped with Bottom Top Venting technology for maximum handling safety.

Paramir: The lightweight and compact hand-fired signal rocket is available as a flare rocket in various colors and infrared, as well as a smoke trail and NBC signal. The ascent height is around 100 meters, and the illumination time is around 15 seconds.

Laser Light Modules and Attachments: The powerful Laser Light Module product family LLM-VarioRay has established itself in recent years with many armed forces, including those in Germany, the UK, and Switzerland. The laser light package from the LLM-VTAL and the separate tactical weapon light TL-MissionLight is in use with various special forces. The sniper fire control system FCS-TacRay Ballistic features an integrated laser rangefinder with a range of 2500 meters and a ballistics calculator for 32 types of ammunition.
