SIONYX showcased its OPSIN night vision device at ENFORCE TAC and IWA after its debut at the SHOT Show. OPSIN is a military-grade digital night vision device that promises excellent performance without the need for traditional tubes.
SIONYX presented its night vision device OPSIN at the SHOT Show and now they also exhibited at ENFORCE TAC and IWA. OPSIN is a military/professional digital night vision device - meaning it does not work with a tube, but "makes the night bright".

In front of the eye, it looks like a classic PVS 14. On their stand, you can also admire their previous night vision cameras from the AURORA series and other new products.

We were able to take a quick look through it and are really impressed. The "lag" - a computational delay between recording and image display - is almost gone and the OPSIN can also be used dynamically. Hopefully, there will soon be a test device that we can put to the test.
