The countdown is on: From March 4th to 5th, 2020, the Enforce Tac opens its doors for the ninth time at the Nuremberg exhibition center. With around 14,000 square meters of exhibition space and approximately 350 exhibitors from over 30 countries, this year's specialized trade fair for leadership and operational equipment for authorities with security responsibilities is bigger than ever. Together with the parallel U.T.SEC - Summit for Drones, Unmanned Technologies & Security - Enforce Tac offers an interactive networking concept for exhibitors, visitors, and associations.
Given the increasing crime rates, terrorist threats, and the growing challenges for emergency services, security solutions are more in demand than ever. At Enforce Tac, legitimate trade visitors from police, judiciary, border protection, customs, military police, or armed forces will find everything they need for their professional work: whether it's police equipment, security needs, or tactical solutions. The wide range of offerings covers everything from A like equipment, to I like information and communication technology, to Z like targeting optics.
But Enforce Tac is not only about information on innovations and trends, but above all about international exchange and professional development. In addition to the Demonstration Area with exciting live demonstrations, high-quality professional events such as the European Police Trainer Conference (EPTK) of the Police Trainers in Germany Association (PiD) - a combination of lectures and professional training for members of authorities and organizations with security responsibilities (police, judiciary, customs, etc.) as well as professional soldiers - take place. The two-day symposium has been meeting since 2006 in advance of the IWA OutdoorClassics and since 2012 parallel to Enforce Tac in Nuremberg. The Police Trainers in Germany Association cooperates with NürnbergMesse to carry out the EPTK.
Since 2017, the topic of "Unmanned Aerial Systems" (UAS) has had its own platform: The comprehensive summit conference and expo "U.T.SEC" focuses on the future of unmanned vehicles with an emphasis on their application by security authorities. The technical, legal, and above all practical possibilities to increase security with a focus on the defense and use of drones in the context of authorities are at the center. In the Flight Zone, an open area in the loading yard of Hall 12, several companies, such as DJI, Globe UAV, in collaboration with the Nuremberg Fire Department, will demonstrate live this year how the work of rescue and security services can be supported by unmanned aerial vehicles. Visitors can experience, for example, how drones can be safely guided from a long distance - such as a control center - using mobile networks beyond the line of sight. The premium partner for this year's U.T.SEC is once again ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik GmbH. With the trade visitor ticket of Enforce Tac, you can visit U.T.SEC for free.
This year, the patronage is held by the Bavarian Ministry of the Interior. In his welcoming address, Minister Joachim Herrmann emphasizes the need for global networking, as ensuring internal security poses daily challenges for security authorities in Germany and Europe. "Therefore, take advantage of the expertise of the security experts represented here at Enforce Tac and U.T.SEC to get comprehensive and first-hand information on the latest technical developments," said Minister Herrmann.
