ENFORCE TAC 2019: Abseiling with MD-Textil

What does rappelling with the Modular Harness System (MGS) from MD-TEXTIL look like in practice? That's what we wanted to find out, so we watched a live demonstration at the Nuremberg trade fair where the MGS system was presented to interested parties. Here is a nice shot of the MGS. For professionals, everything is done smoothly and quickly. Once at the bottom, the rappelling device is quickly unclipped and the rope bag is thrown off with a single grab. It can be detached from the leg immediately with an extendable plate. Here's a detailed shot. In just a few seconds, you are free from equipment and rope, a big advantage of the MD-TEXTIL system. With the corresponding quality and tailored to the MD-TEXTIL system, there is also a dedicated rappelling harness for the service dog. This includes separate leg loops for the hind legs, which are often overlooked by other systems.
