Enforce Tac 2018: First address for security

02/16/2018By Redaktion

The Enforce Tac, international trade fair for command and control equipment of security authorities, can report another significant growth for its seventh edition. The annual event will take place in 2018 on the 7th and 8th of March in now three halls of the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre, once again under the patronage of the Bavarian Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann.

"A growth of around 20 percent for the upcoming Enforce Tac compared to the previous event in 2017 shows, on the one hand, the unabated need of law enforcement authorities worldwide for equipment and training that can withstand growing threats," says Thomas Preutenborbeck, event manager of Enforce Tac at NürnbergMesse. "On the other hand, the steadily increasing commitment of exhibitors to Enforce Tac also demonstrates the importance of the event for its target audiences including police, judiciary, border control, customs, military police, and armed forces."

Around 250 companies from around the world will present established products, but also new innovations in the areas of service weapons and ammunition, ballistic accessories, optics & optronics, operation clothing like stab and bullet-proof vests, shields, helmets, and vehicles, on a significantly expanded exhibition space over the two days of the trade fair. As a specialized trade fair for professional visitors from authorities, entry to Enforce Tac is strictly defined and must be proven by a service ID or a written confirmation from a security authority.

Theory and Practice: The Conference Program

The highly specialized offerings of the exhibitors find a meaningful complement in the conference program of Enforce Tac: The European Police Trainer Conference (EPTK) of the PiD - Police Trainers in Germany e.V. takes up current topics and thus connects theory and practice, equipment and application.

This year, the European Police Trainer Conference will feature lectures by international experts from Germany, Great Britain, and the USA on topics such as anti-terrorism intervention, criminal behavior recognition, dummy explosive vests, access techniques and preventing fatalities during arrests, methods for realistic training and education, legal and tactical aspects of firearm use, and analysis devices in on-site operations. The lecture topics bridge the gap between the offerings of the exhibitors at the trade fair and their practical application. On the second day of the trade fair, members of security authorities and organizations can train live with modern tactical equipment. U.T.SEC 2018: Deployment and Defense of Unmanned Systems

Drones are increasingly changing scenarios. They can support emergency forces in various ways in their tasks, but also pose a threat to security that needs to be countered. Both aspects will be addressed at the 2nd U.T.SEC - Unmanned Technologies & Security Expo & Conference, which will take place parallel to Enforce Tac and in close proximity on the 7th and 8th of March 2018 at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre. U.T.SEC can be visited for free with the professional visitor ticket of Enforce Tac.
