Enforce Tac 2017 in Nuremberg: Watch your six!

12/03/2016By Redaktion

In 2017, the Enforce Tac - International Exhibition & Conference Law Enforcement, Security and Tactical Solutions, takes place for the sixth time. The latest Law Enforcement equipment for 360° security will be presented at the specialized trade fair on March 1st and 2nd at the Nuremberg Exhibition Center. In addition to weapons, ballistic accessories, optronics, tactical equipment, and operational vehicles, the exhibitors at Enforce Tac also showcase personal protective gear such as bulletproof vests, stab-proof vests, body armor, face protection, shields, and helmets.

Emerging operational scenarios require that the equipment, arrest, and apprehension techniques of law enforcement agencies are up to date to carry out the task and protect against fatal injuries. This year, the trade fair is complemented by two specialist conferences for police and governmental security experts.

Evolved from the traditional Behördentag at the beginning of the IWA OutdoorClassics, Enforce Tac has a long-standing tradition. The growing interest in an international, especially discreet exchange on Law Enforcement, Security, and tactical equipment led to the premiere of Enforce Tac as an independent, closed specialist trade fair in the Congress Center of the NürnbergMesse in 2012. The fifth edition in 2016 saw 152 exhibitors and 2,759 trade visitors and conference participants from 65 nations in Nuremberg.
Bavarian Interior Minister Herrmann: Enormous Challenges

Joachim Herrmann, Bavarian State Minister of the Interior, for Building and Transport, and member of the Bavarian State Parliament, sees enormous challenges for the security authorities in Germany and Europe after the attacks of recent months. "We want to meet these constantly increasing requirements with well-equipped security forces. A modern and technically sophisticated equipment is a prerequisite for their professional work," said Herrmann. "The specialized trade fair Enforce Tac offers an excellent platform to bring together security experts from authorities and institutions with specialist manufacturers."

The Bavarian Interior Minister has once again taken over the patronage of Enforce Tac for the northern part of his state in 2017: "As the patron of the event, I am convinced that this trade fair offers a good platform to facilitate the exchange of experiences between exhibitors and visitors, in order to support the Bavarian motto: Let's protect with all determination the security of those who ensure the security of their fellow citizens - in the interest of the security of our country!"
Two specialist conferences provide know-how in theory and practice
The European Police Trainer Conference (EPTK) has been taking place since 2006 in advance of the IWA OutdoorClassics and since 2012 parallel to Enforce Tac in Nuremberg. The two-day conference presents the latest developments, techniques, and technologies in specialist lectures and provides practical training for members of law enforcement agencies and security organizations such as police, judiciary, customs, or professional soldiers. The conference is simultaneously translated into German/English. For the organization of the EPTK, the Polizeitrainer in Deutschland e.V. cooperates with the NürnbergMesse. Since its founding in 1996, the association has aimed to assess, develop, and continually adapt the quality of occupational self-protection to the challenges of police service.

At the specialized conference "Weapons and Equipment Technology", organized by the German Police University in Münster, weapons and equipment experts from the specialist authorities are informed about innovations for police everyday life and safety in handling service weapons. The specialist conference takes place every two years in Nuremberg.
Focus on Security: One date, three specialist trade fairs
For trade visitors and conference participants, a visit to the IWA OutdoorClassics, the leading international trade fair for hunting, shooting sports, outdoor, and security, directly following Enforce Tac, can be worthwhile: Many of the approximately 1,500 exhibitors there cater to the "Law Enforcement" exhibition segment with proven and innovative products around the topic of security. Access to both specialist trade fairs is reserved for visitors with appropriate credentials.

In 2017, another event on the theme of security premieres at the same location at the same time, on March 2nd and 3rd: the U.T.SEC - Unmanned Technologies & Security. With the U.T.SEC, the world's first trade fair and conference focusing on security by and against unmanned technologies will take place at the Nuremberg Exhibition Center. Both technical and legal aspects regarding the use and defense of drones and other unmanned vehicles in public spaces, industrial areas, or in the security sector will be discussed over two days. Entry to U.T.SEC is free for Enforce Tac trade visitors.
