Enforce Tac 2013 in Nuremberg

At IWA 2013 in Nuremberg, Enforce Tac was a smaller military fair with familiar innovations. First Spear's Plate Carrier, S&S Precision's FAST Carbon, and Element Group's Landon Bridge Trading Sentinel were highlights. Gun manufacturers like SIG Saurer and HK showcased their latest models.

IWA, anyone can have we thought - that's why we were also at IWA 2013 in Nuremberg. However, one day before, to visit the Enforce Tac authorities fair, and to report from there. Well, as big as the IWA, the Enforce Tac is small. A military fair that still has to grow. And we were not particularly surprised by innovations that we do not know. Still very exciting: to see some gear up close that you would otherwise primarily know from American carriers. Always nice to look at: the Plate Carrier from the house First Spear (o.). Laser cutting saves them the MOLLE loops. To mount the cummerbund, it comes with special joints, the Tubes.

Especially nice was the small booth of S&S Precision (together with Smith Optics and in front of the coffee kitchen). Here a FAST Carbon with VAS Shroud and Wilcox Rhino Arm, topped by the Manta Strobe and crowned with a Surefire lamp with a special S&S Precision Mount.

The minimalist Plate Frame from S&S Precision is a real eye-catcher. Reduced to a metal clip, it takes in the bare SPAPI, which gets a fabric cover in Multicam. Magazine pockets, done. An impressive little plate carrier.

At the booth of Element Group there was Landon Bridge Trading to see. The Sentinel (re.) is the detachable version of the LBT-6094 and developed by Sentinel. We had the honor of dropping it (works great) but above all, we could test a relief system that connects the Battle Belt and Sentinel with a plexiglass rail. This way, all the weight goes on the hips, and the spine is relieved. We had a man hanging on our shoulders and can only believe it because a second person confirmed that he was really bottomless on our back. Impressive... Next to the Sentinel in Multicam, the current boarding equipment as currently used by the SEALs.

Otherwise, the gun manufacturers were well represented: SIG Saurer surprised us with an M4 variant named "516" in reference to the numbering system of another manufacturer.

Here we have our hands on the most current version of the HK416. The rail is in FDE color, the gas pressure system revised, the weapon completely operable from right and left. Heckler & Koch had, like FN Herstal, all common types of weapons represented. Glock shone with Glocks that have a threaded barrel for suppressors and Schmeisser was also seen.

Nothing new, but always nice to look at: an MK25, the SIG P226 in the version for Navy SEALs.
