From January 19th to 21st, 2024, the Eiswolf24 took place in Germany, a night orienteering exercise near the northern German city of Heide. It was carried out for the 16th time and is organized by the Association of Reserve Personnel of the Bundeswehr in cooperation with the State Command Schleswig-Holstein.
Around 130 professional soldiers and reservists from Germany, Finland, France, Denmark, Austria, and Switzerland formed teams of two or six people. First Sergeant Tatjana Sabitzer from the Jaeger Battalion 25 participated in the challenging competition for the first time with a soldier from the Bundeswehr.
