Ready for action: Theon Micron

The Belgian and German armed forces have completed the Operational Testing and Acceptance (OT&A) of the Mikron NVG as part of the NVC (Night Vision Capability) program, as announced by the Organisation for Joint Armament Cooperation (OCCAR) on April 12.

The Mikron acquired in 2021 is a derivative of the NYX family manufactured by Theon Sensors; it will replace several types of optronic systems that have been in use by the Belgian and German armed forces.
