Lizards for the Netherlands

Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) delivered the first two Leguan bridge laying systems to the Dutch procurement agency DMO. The Netherlands ordered a total of eight systems on Leopard 2 chassis, with the final delivery scheduled for 2021. Visit KMW's website for more information.

As part of a ceremony, Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) handed over the first two Leguan bridge laying systems to the Dutch procurement agency DMO (Defence Materiel Organisation). In 2016, the Netherlands decided on a bilateral procurement approach with Germany and ordered a total of eight CSB (Close Support Bridge) Leguan on Leopard 2 chassis, additional equipment, and training simulators. The last system will be delivered to the Netherlands in 2021.
