DSEI 2023: SAAB showcases missiles at Oshkosh

SAAB at DSEI 2023 will demonstrate the possibility of integrating a RBS 70 NG Mobile Firing Unit (MFU) equipped with missiles with the extremely robust tactical electronics from SAAB, along with low-latency video distribution system and Barracuda Mobile Camouflage System into the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV).

The goal is to meet the growing demands of mobile air defense and strengthen the capabilities of land forces to face current and future challenges. The industry-leading MFU from SAAB uses the RBS 70 NG missile system with its laser-guided missiles to counter threats with short warning time. The tactical electronics and low-latency video distribution system provided by Saab support the crew with improved situational awareness on the battlefield.

The fully integrated multispectral Barracuda Mobile Camouflage System camouflages the vehicle and allows for quick deployment of the JLTV against airborne targets when needed.

In June 2022, a partnership between Saab and Oshkosh Defense was announced, focusing on the fully integrated solution of Saab's Barracuda Mobile Camouflage System (MCS) for the JLTV. Visit the SAAB stand H7-210 at DSEI to learn more.
