DSEI 2017: A robot for all cases - Ironclad

At the DSEI fair, BAE Systems presented their new robot Ironclad. It belongs to the Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) and offers a universal platform for multiple systems.Air defense, reconnaissance, bomb disposal, or transport of wounded are just some of its possible uses. Powered by a battery, it can cover a distance of around 50 kilometers. It is also being further developed to act and drive autonomously in the future. By relieving soldiers of weight and physically demanding activities, they can focus on more important tasks and be more effective.
