This umbrella provides safety

The name is the program, Sicherheitsschirm, German for "Safety Umbrella". Sounds odd, but it makes sense, even a lot of sense. The umbrella looks like one and behaves like one, because primarily it is also meant to protect you from the rain.

Upon closer inspection, the very stable mechanism and the 14 mm thick carbon fiber handle stand out. This provides very high stability, and thus the Sicherheitsschirm is also very well suited as an improvised weapon for self-defense. This is not about bashing, but simply about safely deflecting attacks and keeping the opponent at a distance. You don't necessarily need much practice or martial arts experience for that.
