The weapons of the Ukrainian Army

Wars are won with weapons. Ukraine has been resisting the Russian aggressor for over 1,000 days because of the many weapons it can use: from its own country, but also from international aid deliveries.  

Victor Schunkow documents in this book tanks and APCs, armored vehicles, tube and rocket artillery, as well as small arms - whether from Ukrainian, Russian, or Western production - that are in use on the Ukrainian side in the war. The book provides a well-illustrated and concise overview of the armament of the Ukrainian army. 

We just want to give you an impression of the book: Let's start small. It begins with pistols  and goes through submachine guns ... 

... and moves from submachine guns to sniper rifles - here a classic Dragunov, but with a folding stock. 

In terms of assault rifles, the standard AK74M is represented as well as the bullpup solution Wepr - and plenty of Western imported weapons. The Ukrainian army is in the process of being reequipped, making it extremely exciting. 

Due to imports, there is a large number of models in use. Here is a hardened vehicle: the Korsak. 

Westerners, of course, favor Bradleys and Marders, which are in use alongside BMPs and do what they are designed for - fighting vehicles from the Soviet arsenal. 

The superstar from Ukraine must not be missing: the Gepard has found a new, very successful life in Ukraine. 

And of course, the full range of Soviet-Russian tanks is represented in the book - from battle tanks to self-propelled artillery. 

CONCLUSION: Well illustrated and a compact overview of the very dynamic field of Ukrainian armaments.
