With improved readability, new color variants, and even more durable straps, this new release represents a consistent evolution of the line – elevating its qualities to the next level. As the newest generation of the proprietary trigalight technology, spectralight combines proven luminescence in darkness with vibrant color strength in brightness.

Since the development of the world's first self-luminous wristwatch for the US Army, TRASER has been a leader in readability and functionality. This is impressively demonstrated by the new P96 OdP in the color variants Sand and Black: For the first time, the dials feature a rough surface texture that, combined with the matte black case and the anti-reflective sapphire crystal, minimizes disturbing light reflections.

The targeted use of colored elements ensures intuitive time recognition: The skeletonized hands and prominent Arabic numerals either stand out in black or are rendered in high-contrast white and red. While the characteristic inner 24-hour scale of field watches provides additional orientation, the matte black date window at the three o'clock position discreetly integrates into the clear design.

spectralight: Vivid readability around the clock

In an absolute novelty for a TRASER watch, the hour markers and hands stand out vividly – both in bright and completely dark environments. This is thanks to the first-time use of spectralight, the latest generation of the proven self-luminescence technology trigalight. By combining specially crafted colored glass with an advanced powder coating, spectralight unites high color saturation in daylight with optimal visibility at night in blue, orange, green, and red. The energy-autarkic luminosity remains constant over the years.

In the version with a sand-colored dial, the main indices at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock, as well as the hour hand, stand out in a bright orange. The other hour markers and the minute hand shine in bright blue.

Red spectralight elements highlight the main indices and hour hand of the black P96 like an instrument panel. The minute hand and other hour markers are equipped with trigalight capillaries, appearing white throughout. In both models, green spectralight elements at 1 and 2 o'clock indicate the crucial time interval of the first quarter-hour. Trigalights on the second hand, beneath the logo, and as an insert in the unidirectional rotating bezel, along with a luminescent Super-LumiNova ring along the minute markers, enhance the luminosity.

Lightweight with strong performance

The case, with a diameter of 44 millimeters, is made entirely from fiberglass-reinforced polymer. This construction combines high robustness with a low weight of just 70 grams. Protected from water pressure up to 20 bar / 200 meters, the Swiss quartz movement provides precise timing.

The lightweight design of the case is complemented by high-quality strap options from TRASER for a comfortable wear in all weather conditions. The P96 OdP Color is secured to the wrist by a proven black rubber strap or entirely reworked textile straps. Coordinated with the respective dial tone, a black or sand-colored NATO strap with a sporty striped pattern consistently continues the new color design. Equally consistent is the durability of the textile straps, whose holes for length adjustment and the end edge are now reinforced with stitching.
