The new 1911 Operator® 9mm from SPRINGFIELD

SPRINGFIELD ARMORY is proud to introduce the new 1911 Operator® 9mm, a 1911 pistol designed for tough use and ready to give it all.

The new 9mm version of the pistol, which was previously available in .45 ACP, offers everything that has made the original so popular. This includes a Tactical Rack rear sight with Tritium front sight, rugged G10 VZ grips, an ambidextrous safety, two magazines with bumper pads with increased capacity of nine rounds due to the pistol's 9mm chambering, front slide serrations, and more.

The forged steel slide and frame are coated with a durable, subtle black Cerakote finish that provides protection against the elements and ensures long life. The frame features an integrated Picatinny accessory rail on the dust cover, allowing the user to equip the pistol with a light, laser, or combination device of their choice.
