The light air force

Luftwaffe does not always have to be big. Small aircraft are on the rise, especially in asymmetric conflicts where an air force providing close air support is facing an opponent who lacks capacity in air defense. Propeller aircraft are more cost-effective to maintain and can be upgraded quite nicely.
