The Israelis are heading towards Camo

Just as the Austrians have decided against RAL7013, the Israelis no longer want monochrome uniforms either. But it's not an easy decision, as the love for Olive Drab has endured for a long time - even though 60 percent of the country is desert. Now the IDF Directorate of Technology and Logistics has taken a new approach and test camouflage suits are already in circulation. They look a bit like Multicam, but they're not. Supposedly, Multicam was considered but not found to be suitable. The first test camouflage suits reflect the arid landscape of Israel on one hand, and on the other hand, the surprisingly green country in the north towards Lebanon.
