The Finns are coming!

The new jackets RAIVO (formerly TAIKA) and HAUKKA from WILD from Finland are now available. We had to wait a long time, but it was worth it. Today the postman rang our bell, and we were able to receive the two genuine Finns. 

Now we just need the weather to be rainy and/or cold, and then the tests can begin.

The RAIVO is the insulated jacket with a new TACDOWN filling, meaning it has down insulation instead of synthetic. Very simple on the outside, it should keep you warm down to -20 °C (-4 °F). In addition, it is said to be especially breathable, thanks to special material.

This is the magic material that provides warmth, TACDOWN. It consists of natural down that is specially processed. This allows it to be easily processed and offers all the advantages of down. We are already excited.

HAUKKA is the waterproof jacket. There is also the matching pants. Both are really very lightweight, and the PTFE membrane should keep you dry. Rain is forecasted for the weekend, and we’re looking forward to it.
