Hanwha Defense from Korea also develops ground drones. Their model "Intelligent, Multi-Purpose Unmanned Ground Vehicle" (I-MPUGV) is currently being introduced and field tested as a prototype at the 5th Infantry Division of the Republic of Korea Army (RoKA).
What can the little Korean do? The prototype I-MPUGV is a two-ton class vehicle designed to support infantry units. The updated design is based on a six-wheeled platform that offers higher speed and range compared to previous UGVs on a single battery charge. According to DAPA specifications, the vehicle will be able to achieve speeds of up to 40 km/h on the road and 20 km/h off-road. Additionally, it is expected to provide a payload of 500 kg, more than double the capacity of the previous vehicle which could transport up to 200 kg.
