A snapshot from Kabul on September 13 captures a DEVGRU fighter in Multicam and LBT-6094A in AOR1, with an M4 in New Zealand configuration. Accompanied by likely New Zealand SAS, the SEAL wears AC Pant and AC Combat Shirt, with a damaged sleeve. The scene reveals a MICH2001 helmet with attached PVS-15.
A very current picture of the battles on September 13 in Kabul shows a DEVGRU fighter directly after a mission: interestingly, he is wearing Multicam, along with an LBT-6094A in AOR1. The DEVGRU patch is clearly visible on the front of his chest. It is also intriguing that the man is not carrying an HK416, but an M4 – and in a New Zealand configuration.
The men next to the SEAL are not DEVGRUS but are likely New Zealand SAS. They wear Crype Precision G3 suits as their uniform, while the SEAL wears an AC Pant and AC Combat Shirt. The right sleeve has suffered some damage. The DEVGRU fighter is wearing a MICH2001 helmet with PVS-15 attached (Special Thx to Pat, who sent us the picture.)
